Roster members only

The roster grows
by nomination.

If you're on this list, you have the power to bring the next great speaker in. The community votes. The standard stays high. That's how this works.

Who can nominate

Nominations are open exclusively to current members of the Spokane Vetted Women's Speaker Roster.

  • You must be listed

Only women with an active profile on the roster can submit a nomination.

  • You must know her

You should have seen her speak or be able to speak directly to her expertise and character.

  • Your name carries weight

You're putting your reputation behind this nomination. The community will know who submitted it.

  • One nomination at a time

Make it count. Nominate someone you'd genuinely stake your name on.

The process

What happens after you nominate

A nomination isn't a guaranteed listing. It's the beginning of a community-driven review process. Here's exactly what happens, step by step.

01

You submit a nomination

You fill out this form with information about the nominee and why she belongs. Your nomination goes directly to Stephanie for an initial review.

02

Initial eligibility check

HIKE reviews the nominee for basic eligibility — credentials, speaking experience, and fit with the roster's current needs. This takes 3–5 business days.

03

The community votes

If she passes initial review, a short brief goes out to all current roster members. Everyone votes yes or no. Majority carries. You'll receive the outcome.

04

She's invited to apply

If the vote passes, she receives an invitation to complete the full application and vetting process. A vote yes is not a guaranteed listing — vetting still applies.

05

She joins the roster

You fill out this form with information about the nominee and why she belongs. Your nomination goes directly to Stephanie for an initial review.

What we're looking for

What makes a strong nomination

Not every great speaker is the right fit right now. Here's what moves a nomination forward.

Verified credentials in her field

Degrees, certifications, or professional experience that legitimately qualify her to speak on her topics — not just passion or lived experience alone.

You've seen her speak

Ideally you've personally witnessed her on a stage, in a workshop, or in a facilitated setting. You can speak to what the room feels like when she's in it.

Connected to the Inland Northwest

She's based in Spokane or the INW, or she regularly serves this community. This is a local roster with regional roots — that matters.

Character you'd stake your name on

Credentials get you in the room. Character keeps you on the list. You know her well enough to vouch for how she shows up — professionally and personally.

Ready to nominate someone?

Fill out the form with as much detail as you can. The stronger your case, the better her chances in the community vote. This takes about 5 minutes.
